How to use Methi Leaf

Storage
Fresh menthi aaku can be stored for almost a week. Clean the leaves and eliminate any that are decaying, then wash and dry them. Refrigerate after wrapping in paper or cheesecloth. Excess wetness in the leaves should be avoided. Keep them in an airtight zip lock bag or box. Dried fenugreek leaves can be stored for longer. Dry the leaves in a shaded area, place them in the sun for one hour. Fill them inside a sealed jar once they have dried completely. They can be stored for about six months. They can be kept for a long time and can be used in a variety of curries, salads and seasonings.
Availability
Methi leaves can be grown during monsoon and winter seasons with monsoon being its peak. We grow them twice a year, so that they can be made available at all times.
