The high water volume can lead to problems when trying to store them for an extended period of time. It is advised to store kheera in the fridge; they will go bad much faster if they are stored at room temperature. Place them in a zip lock bag otherwise they will quickly turn wrinkly and change texture. It is not recommended to cut and store it because it will lose its nutritional value.
It can be grown throughout the year; it is a warm season crop.
